A BLOG ABOUT THE CLIMATE CRISIS, AND THE TECHNOLOGY THAT WILL HELP FIGHT IT
About Me
Growing up in Arizona, with its vibrant deserts and abundant sunshine, I developed a deep connection with the outdoors. It was here that I witnessed firsthand the alarming effects of climate change on my beloved home. The experience ignited a fire within me, compelling me to take action and contribute to the global effort of saving our planet.
Professionally, I have built a diverse skill set and gained invaluable experience in various fields, all geared toward addressing the climate crisis. I have worked in branding, product marketing, messaging, analysis and testing, market-entry, and strategic marketing and positioning. Throughout my journey, I have primarily focused on ClimateTech and sustainability-focused startups, where I have witnessed the transformative power of technology harnessed for the betterment of our environment.
But I didn't start there. After returning from Fort Sill, OK, I started a career in defense consulting, serving clients such as the US Navy and other agencies, I had the opportunity to travel extensively and develop a broad international perspective. However, I realized that my true calling lay in making a positive impact in the fight against climate change. This realization led me to pursue a STEM MBA at the esteemed George Washington School of Business, equipping me with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the intersection of business and sustainability effectively.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a self-proclaimed Middle East nerd with a deep appreciation for Arabic, Hebrew, and Middle Eastern culture. My focus lies in fostering US-Middle East international exchange and business, seeking avenues to create meaningful collaborations in the fight against climate change.
I invite you to connect with me if our interests intersect. Let's collaborate, exchange ideas, and work towards a common goal of building a sustainable and resilient future. Together, we can make a difference.
